Authors can submit their manuscripts through the JMSMO online submission system after reviewing the Author Guidelines and ensuring that their manuscript fits the journal’s scope.

The corresponding author can track the status of the manuscript through their account in the journal’s online submission system. All official communications are sent through the submission system or the journal’s official email.

No. JMSMO currently does not charge any submission, review, or article processing fees (APCs).

Manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening and, if they meet the journal’s requirements, are sent for double-blind peer review. Details of the review and decision-making process are available on the Peer Review Processpage.

The review duration varies depending on the manuscript topic, required revisions, and reviewer availability. JMSMO aims to complete the review process within approximately 2–4 months.

Yes. Accepted manuscripts may be published in theArticles in Presssection before being assigned to a regular issue.

Yes. JMSMO recommends that all authors have an ORCID iD and provide their ORCID information during manuscript submission.

Yes. Before publication, the corresponding author may submit a withdrawal request through their user account in the journal’s online submission system. The withdrawal request will be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief, and the final decision will be made in accordance with the journal’s policies.

Yes. JMSMO follows recognized publication ethics standards and relevant Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.

Researchers and academics interested in proposing a Special Issue may contact the journal office with their proposal. Proposals will be evaluated based on their relevance to the journal’s aims and scope, scientific importance of the topic, qualifications of the proposed guest editors, and the feasibility of maintaining the journal’s standard peer-review process.
