The Role and Application of the Iran-Pakistan land Border in Trade and Employment Generation for Border Residents and People in the Region

Abstract
The present study aims to investigate the role and application of the Iran-Pakistan land border in trade and employment status of border residents and people in the region. The research method is descriptive-survey type, based on structural equations, and the statistical population of experts and exporters at the border customs of Mirjaveh city is 160 people. The sample size was determined using the Morgan table and was 113 people, and was selected using a purposive random sampling method. The standard questionnaire of Badri et al. (2018) was used to collect data, the content validity of which was confirmed by the supervisor, and the construct validity was confirmed through factor analysis. Reliability was also calculated using the composite Cronbach's alpha coefficient, which was equal to 0.744, 0.764, and 0.783, respectively. SPSS23 and PLS3 statistical software were used to analyze and interpret the data. The research findings show that the Iran-Pakistan land border has a positive and significant impact on the trade and employment status of border residents and people in the region. Also, the Iran-Pakistan land border has a greater impact on the trade of border residents and people in the region.
