Studying and Analyzing the Dark Side of Personality from the Perspective of Organizational Behavior Management

Abstract
This study aimed to investigate and analyze the dark side of personality from the perspective of organizational behavior management to identify the dimensions, consequences, and importance of this characteristic. The dark side of personality refers to negative and destructive characteristics that can affect the performance of individuals and relationships in workplaces. This study used the meta-synthesis method, and a systematic search was conducted in reputable domestic and foreign scientific databases, which ultimately identified and analyzed 15 related articles. The results showed that the dark side of personality includes 34 codes that are categorized into 9 themes and 4 main categories (social, organizational, individual, and occupational). The most important consequences of this aspect include increased aggression, disruption in performing job roles, decreased productivity, increased personal and interpersonal conflicts, and weakening the mental health of employees. This study shows that recognizing and managing the dark side of personality in workplaces can play an effective role in improving performance, promoting the mental health of employees, and reducing organizational tensions and conflicts. Ultimately, paying attention to this feature helps managers create a healthier and more dynamic work environment and prevent potential crises.
